If your local or union sees value in the work of the AFL, you can get involved.

Locals or unions can contribute to the AFL by helping to fund campaigns or by becoming affiliated members.

AFFILIATION TO AFL INCLUDES:

• 1-2 seats and votes at AFL Executive Committee and Executive Council
• Representation at convention
• Access to all AFL events
• Voice for direction of AFL
• Decision making ability at the provincial level

AFL AFFILIATION COSTS:

• $1.33 Per Capita, per member/month (2025)
• $2.00 Political Action Fund per member/per year

Note: As per AFL Constitution, $2.75 per member/year will be collected from the Alberta Workers Health Centre (AWHC)

Making contributions to AFL campaigns can be done by:

• E-transfer (for auto deposit email:  accounting@afl.org)
• EFT payment
• Cheque to: Alberta Federation of Labour, #300, 10408 – 124 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5N 1R5
