TRADES TRAINING UGANDA

Donate to support

Help us support two incredible organizations that are working to empower individuals through technical and vocational education.

About the Organizations:

African Women in Trades (AWIT)

AWIT is a Ugandan registered NGO committed to campaigning for and mobilizing funds to support the education of disadvantaged women, particularly orphans, street children, and impoverished girls. Their mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing technical and vocational training, helping these women secure better futures for themselves and their families.

Trades Training Uganda (TTU)

Located in Alberta, Canada, TTU is composed of dedicated AFL volunteers who work closely with technical colleges and unions in Uganda. The funds will go to support both women and men in an approved technical program to equip them with the skills necessary for sustainable livelihoods.

Both organizations will require the students to take a course in unions and organizing to be eligible for funding.

Together, we can support the next generation of skilled workers in Uganda and contribute to a more inclusive, equitable society. Your donation, no matter the size, will have a lasting impact.
