Education and Events Departmental Staff
Part-time or full-time. The Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL) is looking for a highly organized and dynamic Education and Events Departmental Staff member to coordinate and manage AFL events and actions. Reporting to the AFL Officers and AFL Directors, you will play a key role in planning and delivering important AFL events such as the rallies, tours, Convention, Mid-Term Forum, Winter School, Kids Summer Camp, December 6th Commemoration, April 28th Day of Mourning, and other initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to lead event logistics from start to finish.

Office Assistant
Part-time or full-time. We’re looking for an Office Assistant to support daily office operations and help keep our organization running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires independent judgment and a strong knowledge of office procedures. The position may be full-time or part-time, based on the AFL’s needs. This role requires working onsite at the AFL office from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Remote work is not available, though part-time schedules can be negotiated.
