Education support workers are proudly dedicated to the kids and families they serve. But their hard work has been severely undervalued. They’re facing burnout, severe understaffing, and unbearably low wages amidst a cost of living crisis. 

Provincial cuts and layoffs mean many kids who need an educational assistant aren’t getting the help they need. Even with a provincial budget surplus, the UCP government is still leaving kids and the workers who support them behind. 

The workers who are there for our children day in and day out deserve better than cuts and layoffs.
