Over the past few years, the Government of Alberta has cut and destabilized funding for public education, forced through wildly unpopular curriculum against the advice of experts, and encouraged the expansion of charter schools that are not publicly accessible.

It’s time for our leaders to step up and invest in high-quality public education that’s accessible to all Albertans, not just a select few. We need to make sure our leaders make a public, tangible commitment.

The best way to get them to do that is if we tweet them and demand they respond publicly. Together, we can hold our leaders accountable to investing in high-quality public education for all Albertans.
