Post-secondary education is being eroded and becoming out of reach for many Albertans.

Over the last four years alone, the Alberta government cut more than $500 million in funding to post-secondary schools and lifted a tuition freeze that resulted in a 21% across-the-board tuition increase. They also raised interest rates on student loans.

Post-secondary education is becoming out of reach for many Albertans, and young people are already leaving Alberta for opportunities elsewhere. If we want our best and brightest to stay and build a better future here, then we need to make sure they have the world-class education they need to reach their full potential. 

We can make Alberta a place of opportunity again, but we need a government that is focused on our future. That’s why it’s so important to take action now.
